jumperoo question

How long did it take your LO to figure out how to jump? DD's feet just now touch the ground but she is jumping yet.

Re: jumperoo question

  • I put DS in the bouncer when he was a little over 4 months old and he jumped right away. Just give your LO a few more weeks and I'm sure she'll get it.

ETA: I meant jumperoo. I always say bouncer because when he's in the jumperoo I say, "bouncy, bouncy, bouncy" and he loves it. So I guess I just automatically think it's a bouncer.

  • DD started after 2 days of having her jumperoo.  She has very active legs...always kicking her feet when sitting in her bouncy seat or swing.
  • DS still doesn't jump. He just plays with that spinny crocodile - spin it, stop it, spin it, stop it. He loves it! I figure he'll jump in it when he wants to. :)

I do the same thing. "bouncy, Bouncy, bouncy" she likes it even though she isn't bouncing yet. Maybe we should be saying "jumpy, jumpy, jumpy" since its a JUMPeroo. Big Smile

  • Miles jumped in it right away, but I've noticed that he bounces more if there's music on (something with a beat).  We listen to a lot of classic rock during the day, and he will go nuts.  If there's no music, he just kinda stands there and plays with the toys.

  • DD1 never did. I think she just didn't like the sensation in the jumperoo, because she loved jumping on our legs!

Haven't put DD2 in it yet..
