Pediatrician & ob/gyn in Downers Grove?

We just moved to Downers Grove from Michigan with our newborn son (he'll be four weeks on Saturday!).  Can you please recommend a pediatrician and ob/gyn in the area?

We have no friends or family in the area . . . do you know of any good groups/clubs to join so I can meet some other moms?

I just switched from Midwest Women's OB/Gyne to Womens OBGYN Associates and am very happy with the change.  I saw Dr. Elaine Cheng so far and like her a lot.

For a mom group - check out westmont's library there is great group on Wednesday morning.

Drs. Ofelia and Cathleen Ayuste are fantastic pediatricians!  They are a mother/daughter practice.  Both take time to listen to your questions and when you call to leave a question, they get back to you within an hour or so.  I highly recommend them!

This is where I went - they are fantastic! I moved to Naperville, but still go there. They are all great.

I go to DuPage Medical Group for both.  I like all 3 ob/gyns in the office.  We've seen 4 of the pedis and all seem nice.  It's the office right by Good Sam on Highland.

I too go to Dupage Medical Group for both and LOVE them.  They have many office locations and one right in Downers Grove.  They also have weekend hours at one of their ped. office in case DC gets sick.

I third DuPage Medical Group! I got to Dr. Gallo, Mitchell and Wolowick's office and they are all fantastic! THey are located on the Good Sam campus. I can't recommend them enough!

Also, there is a new mom group in Naperville called Cradle Talk. Its through Edward hospital, but anyone is welcome to join. I just went to my first meeting today and it was great. They have a different speaker every week and a nurse who facilitates the group. They were very welcoming. Just google. The info for it is here: https://www.edward.org/11524.cfm

Wolowick is my main doc. They are amazing. Made me feel so at home and comfy. Explained everything I asked. Was very honest..I plan on moving to Chicago but hoping I can still stay there. THATS how much I like them lol.
