Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Weekend Plans?

What's everyone doing?

We have our Sunday School game night tonight (J is spending the evening at church) and then a debutante ball tomorrow night (he's spending the night at the ILs - their first overnight and they're super excited).  Then church Sunday and avoidance of chores for quality family time.

Re: Weekend Plans?

  • Working 3 12 hour night shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Sleeping in between feedings the rest of the time.

    Sigh.

  • I work tomorrow. I always have to work one weekend day a month boooo. Sunday little man and I have our first mommy and me play group date!
  • We're going to dinner and possibly a Target run tonight.  Tomorrow DH is working and Sunday we're having lunch with my friends.  Should be a nice weekend!  Hope you ladies have a great weekend!
  • Tonight DH is cooking dinner for me & we're going to catch up on all our DVR'd shows.

Tomorrow DH is jumping into the freezing Chesapeake Bay for the annual Polar Bear Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics. While he's doing that DS & I are going to buy me some new glasses then over my mom's so I can (maybe finally) scrapbook his baby pictures.

DH is working a 24 hour shift on Sunday so J & I will probably do a whole lot of nothing Big Smile

  • We are probably going to be stuck at home taking pics of Jacob's first intro to snow.

If it's a "non-event", then I'm really excited for the potluck dinner at church Sunday. It's some fine eatin'!

Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.

Church potlucks are among my favorite things on the planet.  That and funeral food (disclaimer: I don't enjoy funerals or death, but I do enjoy the countless casseroles made with cream of mushroom that can be found at Southern funerals).

That's part of what makes tonight's game night so exciting - we all have to bring a finger food to share.  And while I have run out of time and will be bringing store bought dip like a loooooser, I can't stop thinking about what everyone else might be bringing.
