Babies: 3 - 6 Months

I get sad sometimes looking back at 0-3

I remember the days when I was on maternity leave and spent all day, every day with DD.  I would lazily try to sleep in as much as possible with LO snuggled next to me.  Make my morning coffee and watch the news.  Spend most of the day in PJs until I got around to taking a shower.  I would have so much time to play with my LO and sing silly songs just to get her to smile.  Not to mention the naps when she napped.  I miss naps!

:sigh:

Of course, there were the sleepless nights, the fussy baby, the reflux, the crying jags, the visits from MIL.....but I'm remembering the good parts and feeling a little sad I don't have that any longer.

I'll stop whining now.  After all it is Friday and I have the weekend to look forward to!

  • I know! But DD is getting so exciting nowadays with her solids, sitting up, babbling, etc., I love watching her "get" things and being more a part of the activities now.

  • I loved maternity leave.  I'm considering moving to France for my next child so I can have a longer leave! LOL!

But it is true...DD is so cool and funny now.  Every day just keeps getting more and more fun.

  • I get wistful when I look at the 3rd tri threads. All the excitement of the unknown.
