So the forecast called for snow early this morning but all was clear when we got up. I needed to go across town to the chiropractor with DD. So as soon as I leave, the snow starts falling. HARD. We made it across town but the way home was really bad. I had to pull over and nurse DD in a gas station parking lot because she was screaming in the back seat. We finally made it home. That really sucked.
Re: Stranded in the snow, had to feed DD on the side of the road
I have fed Henry in the backseat of my car so many times. I bought a boppy to keep in the car for such occasions.
I'm glad you got home safely!
I'm fairly used to driving in snow but the other day I threw 2 small ready to feed formula's into my purse just in case we got stranded. I'm an emergency preparedness coordinator so I know what to have with me in the car but finally heeded my own warnings and grabbed formula so I always have it with me. (I was going to her daycare which is 7 minutes away so didn't have a diaper bag with me - never take it to daycare).
Glad you got home safely!
