Sophie vs. The dog (PIPs)

Is anyone else's dog OBSESSED with Sophie? Mine can smell it from a mile away. Doesn't even have to hear it squeak but the second it's in DD's hands he comes running.

He will just stare at DD and cry for it, eventually paws for it...and sometimes wins (no, I don't let him play with it and yes I clean it well before giving it back to DD).

I admit, pretty funny to watch.

My cattle dog has no interest in it unless we leave it on the couch. He won't chew it, he just squeaks it. If DH has it he doesn't pay attention.

I just have to say that your pictures are soooo cute! We have two pomeranians. but so far I don't think they have noticed sophie.

Yeah, Sophie has been stolen many times. She gets a lot of baths.  Our dog also loves this little soft plush random rattle. She drags it everywhere, silly dogs!

if Sophie doesn't squeek, the dog doesn't seem to notice....but the minute Sophie lets out a squeek, it's over.

My dog has an obsession with this toy!  I squeaked it once weeks ago and I swear my dog just stares at it on the bookshelf where I keep it (up so the dog can't get it).  My dd however... eh.  At least so far.  These are cute pics.

Cute!  Our boxer brought Sophie into our bedroom while we were getting ready for bed once.  She got her out of my diaper bag.  Sophie got a good washing after that.

Yes! I have tried to hide it from him (closet, on top the fridge, etc), but he sniffs it out and just stares at the hiding place. Too funny.

LOL! Our dog hates, HATES all rubber/plastic toys. Will not play with them and will only play with suffed or plush toys. Then we bought Sophie - and she tries to steal it all the time and just stares at DD when she is chewing on it. Yesterday she came downstairs with it in her mouth - I have no idea how she got it and it was the first time she has ever chewed on rubber. She couldnt like her 3$ rubber bone???? Sigh.

I know! We have some kind of cheapy rubber dog toy that I swear feels just like it, but that is not good enough for him apparently.
