Babies: 3 - 6 Months

We have a tooth! - Question

Sleepless fuss solved! Tooth broke last night. We had a lot of screaming and no sleep, but at least we know what was making him freak out.

What do you use to clean baby's mouth?  (I read about those finger things you can put on to rub on the new teeth/gums to keep them clean?)

  • How are your LO's reacting to their new teeth? Have they noticed it?

DS's is not "out" very far.  You can see it, but just the top.  I don't know how, and I can't describe it very well - but DS seems to notice it but very subtly.  He chomps down differently.  Before it broke he would bite down hard on my knuckle and/or finger.  Now he bites down differently and it feels like a little razor.

  • DD got two bottom teeth a couple weeks ago. One broke through one day and the other the next.  You could see her noticing them. She would move her tongue around and had this look on her face like hmm....something is different :)

it does feel very sharp! lol - guess been used to him gumming me for a while. it's the bottom one too.

he runs his tongue a lot on that side. and when he chews on sophie, he gnaws very hard on that side.
