If you have a blog

Did you have it designed by someone of do it yourself? I know how to code the blog to get it to do what I want but I am not good with making a header or anything creative like that.

So if you had it designed by someone who did it?? Link to their site please and can I see yours?

How much was it? Don't answer if you don't want to

If you did it yourself what program did you use to make the header??

Tia!

Re: If you have a blog

  • I do it all on my own, usually in illustrator or photoshop for banners and artwork.   I think there are a few sites that do it for free, but I saw a really cute pay-site recently called "knuckleheaders" (I think...)

  • i made my own header & such- but this lady makes really cute freebies:

  • mine was designed by www.theblogcafe.com she was wonderful to work with. I think my whole package cost 65 or so. I am very happy with it. There is a link on my blog to her website and a contest that she has going right now to win a blog makeover.

  • If you have blogger it's really easy, you just design your header picture on Publisher or Photo shop, add some pics, put a title, add some embellishments or something, then save it as a jpeg.

Then you go to layout in Blogger, click on edit under heading and add your picture. You can click shrink to fit to make it fit right. HIH!

  • I've done all the design on my blog (not that there's a lot.)  If you are overwhelmed by software like Corel Draw, Microsoft Publisher has some pretty good design capabilities that are much easier to learn.  And a lot of people already have in on their computer (it comes with the deluxe version of Office.)
