When do you take LO out?
1. When they have just eaten, and it's their "awake" time - risking missing/being late for their nap and them being overtired by the time you get home.
or
2. After they have eaten and been awake, and just at the beginning of their nap - hoping they'll fall asleep (and stay asleep) in the car ride?

Re: Which is the lesser of two evils?
1. right now because we are using a convertible car seat
Once we get our replacement base for our infant car seat I will use that for short outings (still using the convertible for trips) and will probably stick to waiting until he's tired because he can sleep in it.

She does not nap well anywhere but at home, even in the car. She is always in a great mood after a nap and a feeding. That is when we take off to do our errands.
after food but she doesn't need a lot of naps every day. Then she'll have "catch up" days where she sleeps more.

Since I BF, right after she eats so I have some time to take care of things. I don't go around naps, but I do go around her bedtime.
