I have two...

First, a friend of mine called me yesterday and said awww, when little Brittyn gets older she can date and marry Jake (another friend of our's kid), I was like "ya, we'll see" Jake's not really that cute and I can't believe I didn't just say yes, she will.  Instead I probably made it obviousl that I think he's not cute enough for my dd.  sigh.

Almost every night, my husband and I play Beatles Rockband.  He's the drummer and I play the guitar.  We're such dorks but are totaly addicted to it.  Last night DD went to bed awesome and a little earlier than usual and we stayed up until after midnight thinking we're the best musicians ever.  Oh, and the flammable part of this is that we never used to wait for her to go to bed.  We'd set her in her playpen beside us while we played and kept sticking a soother in her mouth if she got bored and fussy.  Nice.

We totally do the rockband/gh thing all the time. We did it when I was preg too, so I reassure myself by saying she likes the music.

We put her in the swing and play lego star wars on the Wii sometimes. You have to have some time to do the things you like!

A friend of mine has said the same thing about their son and my daughter, and I never respond.  It's not that he's not a cute baby, it's that I'm not so sure how they're going to be as parents and he might not turn out that well.

LOL  We love Rock Band!  We usually wait until DS is sleeping although I can totally see us doing it your way, too.

I lol at the second one.  I'm just picturing the two of you jamming out with this wide awake baby looking at you both like you're crazy.  I'm still lauging over this.
