take the baby out alone?

Mine has not yet.  Not that he wouldn't, there just has been no reason to.  Tonight he is going to for the first time... but he is bringing Jackson to me so that I can feed him, so that doesn't totally count.

The part I am most looking forward to is seeing DH (who is a police Sgt.) carrying my Kate Spade diaper bag... hot stuff!

He never has.  We go everywhere together, DH works nights and I work days so we try to be together as much as possible.

He will pick her up and take her to my mom's for daycare but that is it.  He has never done a store or anything alone.

He hasnt yet. Usually Ill take him with me if I go shopping or something. I would love to see your DH with that bag. haha.

Yep.  He will usually take her to the grocery store on Sunday with him so I can catch a bubble bath.

DH has taken him quite a few times places.

His biggest complaint, the purse like diaper bag LOL.

huh? Hadn't even occurred to me, but no, he hasnt.

He has however been the one to go change her when we are out, on more than one occasion. Although, he often comes back & says there was no changing table in the men's restroom. Btw, why is that? Seems a bit sexist to me. What if you were a single dad?

DH takes her a lot to go run some errands so I can have a few hours to myself on the weekend. He actually took her Christmas shopping with him, so cute.

He has taken her to the pedi a couple times and took her to the pet store once to look at fish (she likes fish tanks) I am not sure what he carries though, he refuses to use my pink Coach diaper bag....lol. He is a cop, too.

He picks her up from my mom's every day but that doesn't really count. He took her to Home Depot once, which I thought was cute and hilarious. We're usually always together when we go out so the need doesn't really arise but if it did, it wouldn't be a problem.

My DH has yet to take her somewhere alone. However, he has been off this week and has been watching her all by himself. I can't help but giggle when he says I didn't thank him quick enough for cleaning and watching DD. I joke around and say, "Where's my dinner? It's not like you have a job or anything to do this week. All you do is stay at home and watch your soaps." We then giggle about it and I take over my mommy duties and start dinner.

DH has taken DS with him to the hair salon so he could show him off to our hair lady, lol.  I think that's it.

Yes, he has since Landon was about 3 weeks old.  He'll take him shopping with him, to run errands, or to go visit his mom. I think its cute when they go shopping together

He does, but only to the store and to friend's/family's houses.  He won't venture far but he does a pretty good job!

Yep. Every Saturday morning he takes LO and the stroller to Cars and Coffee so mommy can get some shut eye

DH takes her to the mall or to the park to walk around. He got a backpack diaper bag at the shower but he ends up just taking mine b/c he says it is a hassle to remeber to switch some things over.

I find it funny that everytime he takes her somewhere someone always ends up commenting on what a great dad he is for doing that! It kind of annoys me.

Yes! He's gone to the store a couple times and gone to the mall with her. It's so cute!

He takes her out about once a week.  He usually leaves the diaper bag in the car.:)

Yep. He takes Gavin to his lunch meetings or the store. He carries my Vera Bradley diaper bag. He says so many ladies either stop him for the baby or the bag...I think he likes the attention. Hmmm.

He took him once to the store but he was so freaked out about it.  He's worried that he's suddenly going to get hungry and he won't be able to feed him (I EBF) and DS will have a total meltdown!

No he hasn't. Not because he wouldn't or doesn't want to like you said, there just hasn't been an opportunity. We usually just go everywhere together.

Yes DH takes Ava to run errands.  I think it is so cute!!  We have a hot pink Jon Hart diaper bag but I don't think he carries it into places.  He does however carry it a lot when we go out together.  The first time we went to mall together with her he took her to Sears with him so I could try on clothes and when he got back he said "I just thought a puppy was a chic magnet!!"

Not yet.  DH always wants us to go places together, so it is usually the 3 of us going out.  I'm sure he will have to at some point though.

Once he picked me up from the bar when I was at a bachelorette party at like 1am and she was in the car.  I know, bad momma. Better than driving drunk! That's the only time though.  Where would he take her without me??  She's my sidekick!
