If your child had Rotavirus...

Hi - I am just wondering how severe it was and if they had the vaccine. I think my 20 month old might have it and I a have a 3 month old that has not had the vaccine yet. Thanks

How did you skip the vaccine?  Intentional?  Delaney has already had 2 doses.

I've never had a child with Rota, but I've treated tons.  Some do fine and some end up in the hospital for dehydration.  No meds work for diarrhea and I don't give Zofran for vomiting until 6mo.

?? I thought the rotavirus was an oral vaccine? At least Bryson's was.  Do they have shots for it now too?

It's an oral liquid.  There is not a shot form.
