baby swim classes

Did anyone do these when you baby was about 6 months old (or a little over)?  We want to start ASAP because inlaws have a pool...and all our vacations revolve around water, so I want the babies to be very familiar by the time summer gets here.

I've looked at a few places online, but it's so hard to tell if they'd be GOOD, so I'd like to hear from anyone who has done them.  Also, if you could include a price range and information about class size, etc. that'd be great.
