Playtime Question

Why can't my kid play alone? Is it his age? Or just him? Or something I am doing wrong?

 He wants to be played with CONSTANTLY. He doesn't want to sit in his bouncer unless I am sitting there playing with him. He hates the swing unless it's naptime. He despises tummy time and won't do it so I have to hold him in a standing position most of the day. He hates the jumperoo because even on the lowest setting, he leans forward (is that normal?) and he's 27.5" long so he is tall for his age. If he's not constantly played with, he just sits there and whines...LOUDLY.

Maybe I am just flustered because DH has been out of town all week and I am the single source of entertainment. I've been home with him for the last two days and am just about to lose it. The fact that his naps are only 20-30 minutes now does nothing to help.

DS goes through stages like that also.  Although ususualy he will play on his playmat for a while and maybe a few minutes (like 5) in his jumper.
