Congestion help

I am full of questions today...

My dh has a call into the pedi but I would like to know what you have done for severe congestion in your LO.  We have been using the aspirator, baby vicks and a cool mist humidifier.  I told dh to sit with her in the bathroom with the shower on hot for the steam.  Is there any baby cold medicines that are safe for a 4 month old?

Have you tried the saline drops? Other than that I don't think there is much else you can do.

You are already doing all of the things I was going to suggest, it will clear up if you keep doing those things.  If she doesn't have a fever then I would not give him any meds, but thats just me.

No fever.  Just super congested.

Your Welcome. Hopefully the drops will help a little. We've been using them the last couple of days on our DD.

Is there really a difference between making your own saline drops and the store bought ones?  I would love to save money and help her at the same time.
