Is my dd big?

Wow seems like dd is so big compared to the responses below. She was 16lb 12 oz and 26 inches at 4 mos. I am so used to her but does she look big for 4.5 months to others?

(btw, I think she is perfect, just asking)

She looks adorable, big or little. DS was 19.5 lbs at 4 months, and I guess he does look bigger than most other babies his age but he's perfect to me too.

I sometimes feel that way too.  DD had her 4-month today and she weighed in at 16 lbs 1 oz and 26 inches.  Doctor hasn't shown any concern so I try not to worry.  Even though her cousin who is almost a month older weighed in at 13 lbs at her 4-month!

She's not big....shes perfect! But I know how you feel...DD was about 14lbs or so and some people would say shes big, and I wanted to throat punch them!!!  Not to worry love...she looks great!

She is perfect!. My DS was 19 lbs (95 %tile) at his 4 month check up. And he is big next to other babies his age. His ped. kept saying he is a healthy boy!!

DD was 17 lbs. 8 oz and 26 inches at her 4 month check up.  She's in the 90th and 95th percentiles but I'm glad she's gaining weight.  I'd rather have that than the opposite!!

lol. My DD is 19lbs!!! Your DD is perfect. You shouldn't compare them anyway. If my dd compared herself to Heidi Klums baby, she'd probably never eat again..

Thanks ladies. I thinks she is perfect and healthy. I just look at her and dont think she is big even though I know she is on the high end of the growth chart. But I absolutely love it!

I think it's just a mom thing to worry. My daughter is on the small side and I'm really sensitive to people saying that she's tiny. I think your baby (all your babies) are gorgeous.

If it makes you feel better, DS was 16lbs at 2 months and 20 at three months.

I have been wondering the same thing... My DD was 15 lbs and 25" at 3 months, so I think we're probably on track to be at a similar weight/length as your DD by 4 months. I dont think your DD looks big at all; She is beautiful by the way!
