Having lunch with a friend today and her baby is one week younger than mine.  She recommended this:

You should check out the age/ weight limilt. After most babies can sit up on thier own, they don't want to use a bouncer or are to big for them. My DD would sit all the way up in her's by 4 months so he had to stop using it.

Yeah...I thought about that.  However, my LO is very small for his age (only 10lbs) and he was in the hospital for his first 2 months of life so developmentally he is a little bit behind.  SO, I think it'll be good for him to practice kicking.  Also, I can use it for future babies!

We got this about 2 weeks ago and love it.  Daughter is able to kick it and move once in awhile but she will able to soon I am sure.  Glad I spent the money, especially cause we didn't have a bouncy seat.
