Freaking out...

I had a pretty crazy day today- my sister was in labor with her new baby girl and I watched (chased) her toddler most of the day, ran back and forth to the hospital...didn't eat well, didn't sleep well....

We're staying at my parents and I finally went to get some groceries tonight and after I carried them in I was having some pretty bad pains- I don't think it's braxton hicks- b/c ny tummy didn't really feel tight...I think it's more ligament pain.  As this pregnancy progresses I seem to have such a hard time asking for help and taking it easy.

Now I'm freaked out that I hurt them.

Tell me I'm overreacting!

Re: Freaking out...

  • I'm amazed you had the energy to chase a toddler at this point! My pregnancy was easy in that it was complication-free and I went to full-term, but hard in that I had a lot of physical limitations from the second tri on. You're probably fine, but try to talk yourself into being willing to ask for help and take it easy. It is important now and it's a valid need. ((((HUGS)))) and hang in there.

  • Well, I am still lifting DS at a healthy 34 lbs. Ugh! Just try to take it easy today. Its unlikely you hurt the babies, but you should watch your back!

  • I am sure the babies are fine, but you are going to have to learn to take it easy.  Just think of it as an excuse to be lazy for the next few months because soon you wont be able to.
