WWYD: DH forgot to give gifts...

SEVEN MONTHS AGO...

Two of DH's coworkers had baby girls. He came home and said he wanted to give them something. The next day I drag the boys out to go shopping to buy gifts. Wrap them all cute. Have them ready for him to take to work...

AND he has yet to give them. One still sits on our counter. The other in the back of his car. Needless to say, they are no longer giveable as the babies have outgrown them. Do I send something to their houses? Forget about it at this point?

So frustrating.

Could you exchange them for a bigger size?  (If your DH would feel comfortable explaining the situation.  I guess it depends on how close he is to the women.)

I thought about that; however, it has been WAY past 90 days and the items are no longer exchangeable.
