Bladder infection?!

I just got a phone call from my OB's office, saying that my blood and urine test result came back and everything looks great, but my urine test shows that I have bladder infection. I don?t even feel anything! Doesn't that cause discomfort when you pee? I feel just fine!

They are giving me antibiotic which is suppose to be safe. Now I'm worried. Is this normal? Has anybody experience this?

I had a bladder infection that I was treated with antibiotics for 5 days. 3 days after they were out of my system it returned with a vengence. I was admitted last Saturday to L&D finding it had spread to my kidneys. I was pumped full of a much stronger antibiotic via IV. Only thing is I was having a consistent cramping pain in my lower stomach. The second time I was having consistent pain in my lower back.

I was told they're common but make sure 100% the round of antibiotics do the trick.

ETA: Just make sure your OB does a clean catch urine sample 48 hours after your antibiotics.

you're lucky! they usually hurt a lot and keep you up at night. just take the antibiotics. they're supposed to be really common in early pregnancy.

Same thing happened to me. I also didn't have any symptoms. I took my last dose of antibiotics last night.

Same thing here too.  I didn't have any itching or burning, just kept telling DH that I didn't feel good.  Now that I'm done with the antibiotics I am feeling much better - hope you will too!
