Solids/Formula Order?

What order do you feed your LO their solids?  So you give them formula 1st then wait a bit to feed solids or do you do solids 1st then formula?  DD has been on a solids strike going on 3 days now so I'm wondering if I should start with solids 1st then offer formula?  I know their primary source of nutrition is still form formula or breastmilk; however, I am just looking for what you ladies do. TIA

Our pedi told us to give her the solids in between 2 bottles. So say she takes a big bottle at 4, then we'll give her a "dinner" at 6, and then she'll take another bottle around 8 before she goes to sleep.

A friend of mine does it different though. Her pedi told her that the formula should be like a drink just like we have during meals. So she'll feed her son all of his solids for dinner and then give him some formula to wash it down, so to speak.
