I just got the results back and my hcg levels are already back at -2. So that means it got out of my body pretty quickly. I know it happened on Monday when this all started.
I am really sad but glad to finally know for sure it is over. So I have my closure.
The positive news is that since my hcg levels are back to normal we can try again when we want according to the nurse. She said we didn't have to take any precautions or anything and that I shoudl not be nervous about getting pregnant again since first pregnancy miscarriages are pretty common.
I hope to be pregnant again soon, this time with a sticky baby. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers.

18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

i'm so sorry. you have a really wonderful outlook on it.
just as kind of a silver lining FYI type thing, when I m/c last year, i was literally pregnant the next month. i lost the baby at 11 weeks but my doctor didn't say we couldn't/shouldn't do anything. i didn't even know i was pg b/c i never got my period after my d&c. i just thought my body was adjusting. come to find out, i was pregnant again.
