I'm also tired of the grandmother constantly making excuses for the mother.  Geez, a 3 year old is missing- stop worrying about her good-for-nothing mother.

Almost 3 year old goes missing in June.  Mom waits a month to report it, and only reports it when her mom calls 911 to have her arrested for stealing her car.

The mom is 22 and currently sitting in jail.  There's a ton more, but it's too hard to explain.

As the grandmother is talking to 911 and reporting the child missing, you can hear the mom in the background begging her for more time to find her.  Grandmother claims to have just found out child is missing, but says to the daughter "I've given you a month!"

Yaaa, it's all kind of screwy.
