Rec. your SUPER easy-to-use camera, please.

I'm thinking about asking DH for a new camera maybe for Valentine's day. Right now I have a Fujifilm FinePix F50 SE (12.0 megapixel). It's an okay camera, but it is slow as molasses in January and DD is just way too quick. Most of the pics I have of her are blurry shots of the back of her head.

I'm looking as something lightweight & small that I can toss into the diaper bag with a high megapixel count, easy to use (point & click, maybe??) and fast shutter speed so I can get some good pics of DD. I don't really want to spend a fortune and I really don't know much about cameras and what's available. I would love to hear what you ladies use to catch good shots of your LOs. Thanks!
