And what about stuff for mom- like nursing bras? She also put on there a potty seat and other stuff for when the kid is older? Am I just being to critical?
Some pp register for a variety to see which work best for them. Others register for cloth diapers. If we had a shop close enough I would register for a few cloth to fill in what were used up with ds.
Going against my cd love, I might register for a pack of newborn disp for the wonderful first poo and to get dh into the idea of changing diapers. These shall be his first. I think.
They are not CD people- at all. I am still debating it, but I cant make up my mind. I might do it when our future DC gets a little older. I could see registering for different brands-but its all one kind.
If you are thinking of cloth there are so many options. When I did it with ds I had no idea of anything more than a pre-fold and cover. I spent 2 months worth of disp diaper money and got enough to use till he was potty trained. They will be used again for this child. So worth the investment. MH dosent care what we use, he just said he has to get used to the idea of changing a diaper.
Back in the day with only diaper pins I think mh would be more worried. Now they have them snappi things. Hurray for me not sticking myself again.
I have a friend that I tried to get her to do the cd and she said basically no way in heck ever. Now she loves them, even making her own baby food and trying to be super eco friendly. I am so proud of her.
Seems to not be so bad. I used to make ds almond milk when he couldnt keep anything else down. Hippy I think has a good book req for it. There are a few to check out and see what is best for your family.
