I had a bridal shower that started at 3 and I called my mom to tell the bride that I got sick. This shower is outside and the temperature is almost 98 degrees.  Plus, its a couples shower (boring). 

Tell me that I did the right thing and that nesting is more important.

Oh yes, stay home! Honestly, a 98 degree/ outside shower probably isn't good for anyone!
