Babies on the Brain

Help me name my new kitty! :)

image This is our new kitty that we're picking up tomorrow. He needed some last minute vaccinations because he is a rescue. We have two other cats named Cameron and Stella, so we like to stick with "people" names. Nothing seems to fit him perfectly though! His foster mom named him Brady, and we're considering keeping that. Any suggestions?

  • Haha!  Adolf... hilarious.
My cat's are Jenkins, Charlotte, and the new one still doesn't have a name.
Just don't go w/ something like Sprinkles.
  • Name him Charlie or Chaplin. :)

  • Fraggle-- Those two were on the list!! Charlie (as in Chaplin like you mentioned) is so cute, plus it was our favorite character on Lost.

  • I liked Charlie. He looks like a Charlie to me.
  • LMAO at Adolf!  The first thing I thought was hitler.  I like Charlie for Charlie Chaplin.  My cousin has 2 cats with people names, they are Angelina and Maya.

  • p.s. - kudos to you for rescuing!
  • Dh said Hitler when I showed him the pick...lol.  It's the nose :)

Brady would be nice and he may already resond to it.

  • Out of curiousity, is he a polydactyle? His left front paw looks like it might have a thumb?

I rescued a tuxedo cat from my yard nearly three weeks ago. I named him Figaro :)

  • Hahaha!  I think Adolf is hilarious.  I kind of like Chaplin instead of Charlie.

My uncle had a cat that had a speck on its nose - his name was Booger.

  • Thank you, mrsm! There is no feeling quite like adopting a rescue. We wanted to adopt a mostly black male cat who wasn't a kitten anymore, since their adoption rates are so low. He and his brother were on their last day of life before euthanization at Animal Control when they were rescued. His brother got adopted last weekend. They are both sweethearts!

  • Fraggle-- I remember when you rescued him! Good to know that everything is still going well with dear Figaro. What a perfect name! Good question about him being a polydactyl, I guess I never looked close enough? My other young kitty has thumbs, too. I will look tomorrow!

  • I thought I recognized your name :P

He's currently sleeping on DH's boxers folded on the bathroom counter :P Silly boy.
He's a great cat. No trouble at all! He doesn't really pay much attention to the other cats, but I guess that will come in time. My biggest fear is selling the house with five pets, but I'm sure it will all work out!

  • My parents have a cat with similar markings on its nose.  My dad wanted to call it "Snots".

Um yeah, my mom vetoed that.

I like Charlie too.  Or Chaplin.  Those would be cute with the marking under his nose.
