weight difference

there was a pretty big difference between my girls' weights yesterday at the dr.  Kendall was 17lbs4oz, and Brooke was 15lbs1oz.  Have any of your babies been this far apart in weight? Thanks!

Mine vary between 1.5-3.0 lbs apart. My little one was 5.4 when born and now she's larger. My boy was 5.9 when born so they were very close together but now are now. I think it's perfectly normal.

Yep, my DDs started over a pound apart (4lb12oz and 5lb14oz) and are about 4 lbs different now at a year (18lb1oz and 21lb15oz at their one year appointment).

wait, your baby is 18 pounds at one year, and one of mine is over 17 at 5 months??  wow, I have a porker on my hands...lol

Mine have been and still are 1 - 2 pounds apart since birth.

My boys had a 1 lb 3 oz difference at birth.  For several months they weighed about the same.  Now there is about a 3 lb difference between the two of them.

Nope, I just have a peanut. :-) 

Once they get moving though, they stop gaining weight quite as quickly.  My DDs were pretty close to what they weighed at their 9 month appointment.

Yeah, my fraternal boys have been about 2 lbs apart since they were about 7 months old. They were pretty close the first 4 months but then the bigger one started to pull ahead. (The bigger one was 3 oz lighter at birth and 1/4 inch longer at birth; now he's 2 lbs 3 oz heavier and 2 inches taller. )

mine weighed in at 18 (audrey) and 20lbs 12oz (vivienne) last week.  vivienne was the bigger at birth.  i do hope they slow down just a little... getting SO heavy.
