Long time no Bump! I have a quick question. I give my baby 1 mm of Fluoride each night in his bottle with his milk. Doctor said to administer it this way...my girlfriend's doctor said that she shouldn't put it in the milk because it dilutes the effects. I can't find anything on the internet about this...what do you girls do?
TIA!!!!
Re: Fluoride in the bottle?
The calcium in milk prevents the fluoride from properly absorbing. The instructions on my fluoride/vitamin drops say to not give it 2 hours before or after any food or drink with calcium. So I mix it in DS's applesauce and give it to him first thing in the morning and feed him his real breakfast about an hour or hour and a half later.
