Dr. Appointment today...interesting

I am 32 weeks and 6 days today. I have in my head the countdown to the C/S date.

Today was my first dr. appointment alone with my 2 y/o in tow. Normally DH schedules himself to close on my appointment days so that he can stay at home and do their own thing. I am not suppose to pick him up but today I had to multiple times or I would still be running around trying to get him to come along with me. He was just in one of those moods this morning.

My Appointment was at 9:45...amazingly we made it there early! I get called back pretty quickly for initial check in stuff. I gained 5lbs in 2 weeks putting my total so far this pregnancy at 35lbs gained. pulse was high but thats b/c I had just chased Gavin down a very long hall. BP great. Found out my platelet count is low so Im on Iron once a day till delivery.

I go into the side waiting room waiting to see the DR and Gavin is throwing a small tantrum nothing huge....just fussing b/c Im making him sit still. Couple at the end start making comments to eachother pretty loudly and all I can think is just wait!  I get called back and Gavin finally calms down when the nurse puts the dopple on. They even put it on Gavin's tummy to listen to "his baby"

DR comes in and says that everything is right on track. LO is head down. I'll get my Group B test done next visit even though Im having a C/S just in case I go into labor. THEN HE DROPS THIS BOMB

"You're at the stage now that after next week, if you went into labor we wouldnt stop you" *insert chest pains here* I'm now thinking holy crap things need to get ready and quickly! *sigh*
