FINALLY Have a walker!!

Yeah!  I can barely believe it...  Brian is a little over 19 months chronological (17 and 1/2 adjusted) and is finally walking!  He can pull up to stand from the middle of the room, and walk around the house with and without shoes on.  He even took a stroll today through Barnes and Noble without any hand holding...  I felt like this day would never ever come.

Ironically, he qualified for PT through EI a few weeks ago, but the services haven't started yet.  I have our ISP meeting on Friday.  He still can't run, jump, dance, etc, and he still crawls about 25% of the time.  He also won't push or pull any toys, so I figure there is still a lot for them to work on.

I feel like a weight has been lifted..... Oh - I also saw that Tricia's Robbie started walking this week too!  This must be a good week for preemies - GO ROBBIE!  There are a lot of mommies on here who are rooting for you!

Yay!  Get that video camera out.  There is nothing more adorable than looking back at those early steps!

Thats great!  And, that's always the way it goes.  They qualify, and then all of a sudden it clicks, but its ok!

That is awesome!!! Yes get the video camera for some of the first steps....When DS started walking he walked like Frankenstein and DH was worried he would always walk like that....
