Christening Thank Yous re: money into babies account+

How do you word it when you thank someone for money that you put into your DC's account?  I am usually pretty basic, but it might be nice to get others views.  Thanks!

  • I always put something like, "Thanks so much for your generous gift.  We are excited to open "baby's" first savings account!
  • Oh & I should add, she has an account already so we're adding to it.

  • i use a simple thank you for the generous gift, your thoughtfulness is so appreciated.

and to my ils (who have been continuously generous in savings contributions as gifts) matt and sean will write out thank yous again some day as young adults expressing how much they appreciate putting to use such nice gifts.  they will do this because a) i hope they'll want to and b) I told them to do it!
