This is my first month fully charting (except CP).
Do you agree with FF on my O date?
I know my chances are virtually non-existent though because I've been suffering from a UTI. :-( Just trying to get used to charting.
TIA
If it's not the date FF picked, it's one day earlier. Either way, you're not totally out of the game. I think SNM holds the record for worst timing on her BFP cycle--I think they had sex like 5 days before O and still got pregnant!
My timing's not so great this cycle, either. I'm with ya, sister, but trying to stay positive.
For those that have used Green Tea - have you actually noticed a difference? When do you drink it/how much? Thanks!
Never used it--but I did learn that I need to drink more water to increase my CM in general.
And FYI--you know if you're drinking green tea, you need to wait a few hours after you take your PNV because green tea inhibits folic acid absorbtion. Or just take your PNV at night.
I just came off BC in Oct. and this is my 3rd cycle TTC. 1st cycle was 37 days, 2nd cycle was 49. So, yeah ... I was a little skeptical that I'd O on CD16 on this cycle.

Holy shiit!! That really gives me hope for this cycle I've been afraid our timing was horrible!
This is our first month TTC and I haven?t been charting or temping, etc.Our method this month was basically just have sex A LOT from the time my last period ended until right before my new cycle was due to begin (although, I don?t think we were successful and I will likely be starting FF next month!).We were basically doing it every day. I began to notice that I was bleeding after intercourse, which started about Day 17 of my cycle. And since then, it seems that I?ve been bleeding after intercourse every time (I?m now on Day 26)!Has this happened before to anyone? It?s never happened with me before, but then again we don?t normally have sex this often so I?m thinking it may be from too much practice?
I?m also at work so I?m not ignoring any potential feed back if I don?t respond quickly!
First, I have to say OUCH as I cross my own legs. Second, if you are doing it that much and that is very different from your normal pattern, it is very likely that you are bleeding from the sex. However, if you have any other issues that are out of the norm, you may want to back off the sex and see a doctor. For ex: itching, burning, unusual discharge.

Bah, that doesn't sound like fun... Do you think you could have hurt yourself or torn something? Are you recently off of BCP--like could it be spotting and not related to having sex so much?
Either way, that sounds awful. Give your vag a rest, lady!!

This is exactly what I was thinking. I saw the line on the OPK start to appear but it never got as dark as the control line. Then it disappeared. I was using the internet cheapies and only testing once a day.
Was thinking next month to catch my surge I should maybe test 2x/day. What do you think?
I agree with it You probably just missed your surge with the OPKs and I bet if you took out the negs your CHs would become solid.

FWIW, I think you did. Your chart kinda looks like mine has looked lately (well don't look at this cycle's for reference. It's a hot mess because I was drunk for a good portion of this cycle.)
You crack me up! I'm so happy, I think I O'd for the first time off BCP.
I just came off BC in Oct. and this is my 3rd cycle TTC. 1st cycle was 37 days, 2nd cycle was 49. So, yeah ... I was a little skeptical that I'd O on CD16 on this cycle.
So DH and I should keep going at it? Boo.
Definitely keep having sex. It would suck to kick yourself in the rear later for not doing it.
Do you think it's worth it to go with the Clearblue monitor instead of charting if I have pretty basic cycles?
I probably wouldn't spend the $$ on it if you have cycles where you've been easily able to predict ovulation. What about OPK's instead? Have you already done that?
No, but i've been debating between OPKs & Clearblue. My cycles are about the same length each month, but my O date has varied by 4-5 days so it's not that easy to predict.
It might be best to try the OPKs first though, you're right. They just seem like a PITA to me for some reason, but maybe i'm overthinking it.
I'd snag some internet cheapies... Or maybe someone here is selling their CBEFM? I wouldn't pay full price, though.

Haha! Thanks for the input! No, no other issues so I haven't been too concerned about it, thinking its most likely just from sex too often! But I think we're just going to hold off for a bit and try again next cycle... but with a new method!
can you check out my chart?! Not sure if my temp rose enough for it to be considered an O like FF is telling me..
Nevermind. I'm an idiot who needs to learn to scroll.
This coverline is way below your previous ones and you've had a pattern like this before... I'm tempted to say that you didn't O yet. Keep up ye olde Hump 'N Hope!

LMAO!!! Yeah, I think I just need a break. I've been off BC since 2008 so I don't think that's an issue, but my guess is maybe dryness from too much sex, not enough lube...

If you're lubing the hole, you might want to get a sperm-friendly lube like preconceive or pre... pre... something else. There are a few, I just can't remember the brand names.
I think I'm going to ditch my Target BBT after this cycle. I don't think it's accurate.
I'm not a fan of my Target BBT either. No backlight and it doesn't save temps. The only thing it's got going for it is that it has some pink on it I wonder sometimes if mine's not completely accurate too.
My target BBT saves temps.
Grrrr, I thought something was wrong with mine because I swear that the packaging said that it saves temps.
I've noticed it said before that regs usually have the posts sorted differently than newbs do. Which way do you have the posts sorted and what are the benefits and what are the cons of sorting posts "the newb way"?
"Last reply" is the cat's asss! Seriously, it's the only way to go. You can follow what posts are still active because sometimes we stay and play in posts longer than you'd expect.
If you just go by original post, you're getting the new posts, but none of the new replies. If you have it by "last reply" you're getting both mixed together--always the most current info!
I don't see an option for "last reply". Please hold my hand and guide me to the right spot!
I have a question, I woke up at 3 something this morning because I had to pee. My temp was 97.42. I went right back to sleep and woke up at 7 and it was 97.72. Which should I use? I know you should use the first (typically) but I did get in 3 hours of sleep before I temped again.

Okay, when you're on the main TTGP page, scroll all of the way to the bottom. You'll see a green box with some drop downs about how to view your posts and how recent the posts are, etc. Click the "Most Recent Post" drop down and change it to "Most recent reply" and then click Apply.

It's tough--I don't know if there is a real answer to this question but most likely it means you're about to release the egg.
Not everyone gets O pain. Half of the time I think they're random pains that we wouldn't otherwise notice, but since we're TTC, we're more alert to signs.

Also, some of them only save it so you can look at it once. For example, I take my temp, go back to sleep, and look at the temp when I get up. But once I look at that last temp, it is gone within seconds and I can't get it back. I have the Walgreens one though.
