Need help: DD is more fashionable

than I am.  Lately, it has been so much more fun to shop for her than it is for me!  I think it is because I am just so frustrated with my body right now so instead of shopping for clothes that flatter me now, I put it off and wear the same old crap.  I'm doing a pretty important internship this semester at a hospital as a chaplain and while its not straight up business professional attire, I still want to present myself well. I don't want to go all out on a whole new wardrobe (or spend a ton of money) as I am trying to lose weight but I would like to add some pieces that will work with my body in the meantime.  Any suggestions?

  • For me we have a great Goodwill by our place and I find great things there, name brand, sometimes with the tags....try Goodwill, consignment shops, other than that Old Navy has great sales and discounts and can look professional but casual.

  • TJ MAXX or Marshalls...however when you are looking try using vertical strips as they elongate the body and slim you up a bit....obviously black slims and when buying pants try not to buy ones that don't have pockets. Pants that have nothing on the back tend to make your butt look bigger then it is. A great look is a button down shirt, dress pants and then a cute belt made of a stretchy material and clasp style buckle put up just below your boobs....
