I was reading the s/o on last formula can. We are hoping to only have to buy a couple more tubs of Similac, then we'll use the two huge tubs a friend gave us of Kirkland brand and switch to milk at 11 months. I can't wait to save $$!
Just curious, is your decision to switch to milk at 11 months based on the pedi's recommendation, or your own decision? I've heard it's best to wait until 12 months to switch, but lately I'm hearing mixed opinions.

We've been using Kirkland all along.... When DS was at peak formual intake, we were going through a can every 4-5 days. DS has waaaay cut back on bottles (on his own) and I do mix some formula into his food because of this, so now we're going through one can about every 6-8 days. I hear ya though. I can't wait to get this kid on milk instead of formula!!

Both. I'll start mixing at 11 months. I mix my pedi's advice with my own intuition. Noah started solids at 5 months, he tends to work a couple weeks ahead of his age (he was late and is a BIIIIG baby).
