If you shower with your LO

How do you do it? I have tried holding him the whole time and bathing us both (DH isn't home) and also putting him in the PNP with toys til I am done showering then bringing him in to bathe him...what have you found works best when you don't have your DH to help?

Sometimes I just sit her in the shower with me and she just plays with her toys, but the last few times I keep her outside of the shower and just keep the shower doors open and she just stands there and laughs at the water bouncing off of me and onto her.

I used to just bring him in the BR, but he tried to climb the drawers on the vanity the other day, so that's out. We have to go to the pedi today and he got bananas in his hair at breakfast (why he feels the need to tug at his hair when eating, I'll never know). I put him in the shower with me and let him play with his waterproof books and a comb while I showered, then I washed him really quick. He wasn't much of a fan of the water spray in his face, and rinsing his hair was rough. And he was a slippery little turd! I know some ppl wrap them in a towel while holding them, but I didn't. We just held on and played a little. I moved the water spray so it wasn't getting him so much, and that seemed better.

L isnt' mobile yet so I either strip him to his diaper lay a towel in his bouncy seat and put that just outsid ethe shower, wash myself then grab him OR

if I go in the tub/shower I lay him at the end in his sling thing ans he plays/watches me while I shower. He doesn't mind water in his face but we have been showering with him since the beginning so I think he is used to it.

I've sat her on the floor in the tub and soaped her up. Wash myself, then hold her and rinse us both. Then when I need to wash my hair I give her a bunch of bath toys to chew on. She doesn't mind as long as we don't stay in for too long.

Every monrning she stands at the end of the shower and throws her bath toys into the tub one by one and laughs. She thinks its a fun game and it occupies her until I am done.

In that case we take a bath together because DS is too heavy and wiggly for either of us to hold in the shower anymore.
