Belly Laughs ?

I was just wondering for those of you who have read Jenny Mccarthys "Belly Laughs" or "Baby Laughs", how many of you thought the book was offensive? How many that it was funny? I am just curious to see the different opinions on this book.....

I loved it! I thought she had a lot of great info in there but she made it funny to hear about it. I told everyone about that book!

I have not read it yet, but purchased it and will read it during my vacation in a few weeks.

I thought it was OK.  Parts were hilarious.  I didn't find it offensive at all.

I didn't really find it offensive.  I just didn't agree with her viewpoints on a lot of things.  She wasn't very normal/natural birth oriented.  And I don't think she had it as bad as she acts.

I have it on hold at the library. A friend told me to go to the bookstore and read/skim thru it but don't buy it (not worth buying).

I loved both of them!  I read them while 4 months pregnant on the beach in Aruba.  Couldn't help but laugh out loud!

I thought it was a funny, light read, I finished it in one night. However, I thought it was pretty dumb too.

It really wasn't that great... obvious stuff we heard on this board, not very funny writing style... I think I finished it in an hour.  I think if someone just got their BFP, they might find it more entertaining.

I thought Belly Laughs was okay- mildly entertaining but I probably wouldn't buy it again.  Baby Laughs was awful.  IMO, it just proves that Jenny McCarthy is an idiot and that her parenting advice on other issues should not be taken seriously.

Jenny McCarthy is nothing if not brutally honest and some people would rather discusss our "delicate condition" in delicate terms.

I, however, want the real deal.  And in my opinion, she gave an honest account of her pregnancy.
