Any Pharmacists or Nurses around? Come in please.

I took some ALEVE D cold and sinus about 6p.m. yesterday.  It says it's good for 12 hours.  I literally had the WORST SLEEP of my life.  I couldn't fall asleep for ANYTHING.  I was up every hour from 10-7 and only slept about 4 hours total.  I'm assuming this was due to taking the ALEVE D, but I can't find anything on it's side effects.  I'm otherwise a PERFECT sleeper...  WTF? BIG TIA!

    One of the ingredients in Aleve D is pseudoephedrine.  That can definitely cause trouble sleeping.

    This! Pseudoephendrine causes an increase in heart rate and blood pressure, thus causing you to be more awake!

    i am no professional, but I know that i cannot take anything with the "D" in it or any kind of Sudafed because it makes me crazy...hyper, dizzy, pupils dilate...etc...

    Just FYI... if you are nursing, you should not take Aleve.  It can cause possible adverse effects in babies and is not recommended for nursing mothers.  I'm not sure if you are, but just in case...

    Great thanks everyone!  Now I know for future reference, take Aleve D before the GYM not before BED!  lol  I'm such a dumba$s!!!!!!!! And nope, I'm not nursing anymore..
