  • On the right side where all of the boards are, should be on the bottom it says the glossary to help you understand the abbreviations. Takes a bit, but you'll catch on. Welcome! How long have you been trying???

  • O thank you ever so much!

Well unofficially, 2.5 years. But getting ready to officially start within the next couple of months. I'm starting to chart my temps and stuff and I am looking to learn some tricks along the way from others on here!

    How about you?

  • 2 years and counting. We just found out I have a unicornus uterus (it's deformed on one side), and I just had surgery to help open the bad side up a little b.c I still have a good follicle and ovarie on that side and can pass an egg through. It's been such a relief to have answers though!!!! My doc says I'll be high risk, and at the beginning we have to make sure the baby stays on the "good" side so as to not become a tubal pregnancy and make my "bad" side explode (sounds so much more dramatic than necessary...lol). If we get through that, then we just have to be careful b/c not a lot of women with my condition carry through term. But, I'm staying optimistic! I just wish I would've been told sooner instead of this pulling my hair out feeling so helpless! Have you started any treatments? Do you know why you haven't conceived yet?

  • Oh dear! I hope that your surgery will be a success! I had laparoscopic surgery a year ago next month to remove a HUGE cyst off of my ovary. The doctor thought I had adhesion's, which would be from endometriosis, but luckily I didnt have it. My mother had all of her reproductive organs removed at the age of 34 and I do not want this to happen to me before I get the chance to have kids. I dont know why we havent been able to conceive but my doctor is more than a little concerned. I have an appointment on Feb 1st and I hope that I will be able to get a little insight as to why, perhaps, we havent. My doc mentioned having my husband checked for fertility but we havent done that yet since we having officially started trying. Im sincerley hoping that we just havent had one because God doesnt feel like we are ready! :)

The surgery went well, this is my first cycle since the surgery so we're keeping our fungers crossed!!! I had a cyst taken off during the surgery as well, the doc says my cramps should be more mild now. Have the checked your uterus yet? Most of the time that's not a routine thing for them to check. Keep me updated on how your appt goes!!! GL!!!
