Hi. I posted the below on Third Tri and my local board today. Someone suggested I post here because you ladies may have some experience info. Anything would be greatly appreciated. I am trying not to google, but I am getting a bit worried.
Does anyone else have this or any knowledge of anyone who does/has. I have known about it since my 20 week ultrasound and not really been too worried about it until now.
All of the Doctor's we have seen have said it is the "best" of the scenarios with the placement of my placenta (ie, not vasa previa) but today at my routine appt the Doctor mentioned being induced between 36 and 38 weeks in order to avoid my water breaking, which could cause the membranes to rupture. All of a sudden I am much more nervous about this. Not one doctor had mentioned early induction prior to today.
I have had 2 f/u ultrasounds already and will have another in 4 weeks. I trust my Doctor's completely but the possibility of LO coming 4 weeks early makes me very nervous! So far there are no signs of IUGR as the baby was 3lbs 8 oz at our u/s today.
Any info anyone might have would be appreciated. Sorry if this is a little confusing, I am pretty overwhelmed right now!
Re: RP: Velamentous Cord Insertion?
Breezie17 just delivered her daughter, but she did have this. I'm not sure where she is hanging out now, but you could PM her. Or maybe you can find a way to contact her through her blog.
Here is a post Breezie replied in for her contact info: https://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/25471347.aspx
