1st Trimester

sir-eat-alot!

hello ladies!

my name is sir-eat-alot and i think about food all day!  lOL.  i'M almost 6 weeks and i feel like eating everything.  usually my diet is trash and i'M trying to snack healthy, but i don't feel full ever.  recently i've started to pack snacks for work like granola bars and grapes.  should i give in to the urge this early?  am i supposed to be eating more?

    Seriously, it's totally normal.  Healthy stuff doesn't usually fill me up for some reason.  Keep drinking water with it and try to stay with the healthy stuff if for no other reason than you don't want to have to buy new pants too soon.   It'll pass.  I've gotten a lot better since moving into 2nd tri.

    I have learned that shakes help.  Yoplait (in the freezer section) has bags of fruit and yogurt bits that you throw in the blender with a cup of milk.  They are awesome and help fill me up.  If there is a fridge at your work give them a try.

  • I am not as far along as you but I can totally relate! My Nurse Practitioner told me today to give in because our bodies are burning extra energy right now but to give in with healthy snacks like fruit, veggies, cheese, whole wheat crackers and peanut butter and to drink lots of water. I know I am temped to give in to eating chips....lol!!!

  • I was like that when I was 4-5 weeks but now I hate food. Everything stinks!
