I want to learn how to clip coupon's but have no idea how to get started. I always see people blogging about how they got a ton of groceries for cheap by using coupons, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Google has failed me, can anyone on here help?
Re: Is anyone one of those extreme coupon clippers?
I am I am!! My fav site is hip2save.com
Speaking of which, I just got an Olay Quench Lotion rebate in the mail today for $19.98!!
I get coupons from the Sunday paper and you can print them from coupons.com and redplum.com. You can also get coupons loaded on your grocery card via shortcuts.com.
You also have to try and not be brand loyal to get the best price. That is the hardest part for me. Like last week Cottonelle TP was on sale and there was a 50 cent off coupon in the paper and my store will double up to a $1 so I could get the tp for a dollar off. So I got it - hate it -miss my Quilted Northern! LOL.
Also blogs like Money Saving mom and others will coupon match certain stores which helps with saving too.

I am far from a super clipper, but I was proud this week when I saved $20 via coupons combined with $50+ in sale savings at the store.

I'm not as good as those moms on TV who get $150 in groceries for $10, but I do have a few tips. You can get some online on sites like www.couponmom.com or going to the website for the product you are interested in.
Combining manufacturer coupons with store coupons is really the best, or using manufacturer coupons on clearance items. And for the grocery store, use manufacturer coupons when items are on sale. Some grocery stores also let you double coupons, so take advantage of that.
Check out the SAHM board, there are often postings about this and if you look back you should find a lot of tips!
I am. I am actually a bit obsessive about them
Not only do they save us $$, they are my hobby....
