Benedryl: blessing and curse

AJ got a dose of Benedryl at the pedi for an allergic reaction.

Blessing: he's been sleeping all day

Curse: He'll be up all night.

Grants a dose of bendryl a few times a week due to his eczema rash. He sleeps well for his regular naps but no more or less.

What was AJ allergic to?

Not a clue. He was sent home from DC with a very swollen eye. No idea what from--doc thinks maybe a bug bite, but we don't know for sure. It's also possible his sleeping is due to the fact that he's been sick and he could still be fighting that off. Either way, I AM glad he's sleeping because he needs it. I just wish he had waited until after 7 to start.

Well, keep it in the back of your mind if he's scratching and you need sleep

PS--He JUST woke up. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, just woke up. Wow.

Addison must be immune by now. She takes it twice a day and it doesn't affect her sleep either way. You can tell if she doesn't have it though by her nose and eyes.
