Hi...I noticed that your LO also has to wear a helmet for treatment.  I was wondering if he had a hard time adjusting to the helmet?  LO does ok with it during the day but he cannot nap in it.  He tried to pry the helmet off and cries b/c it bothers him.  I feel awful!  Was your LO able to sleep/nap wearing his helmet?

He does great with it.  It's never bothered him.  He sleeps great, which I am VERY thankful for!  We got ours from Cranial Tech...it's a band and super lightweight - 6 oz. I think. 

What do you think is bothering him?  I do know that the helmet traps in a lot of heat.  Maybe he's hot?  I would try dressing him more lightly maybe?

I think maybe his head is itchy?  He's used to rubbing his head when he's falling asleep and I'm not sure if it's bothering him.  Also, I notice sometimes the helmet looks like it's scrunching down on his eyes making him look like he's scowling. I'll have to ask the clinic when we see them again this week. Thanks for responding! =D

The slight scrunching down on the eyes is pretty common.  If you pull up slightly on the skin above the helmet, it helps with that issue.  But you should also make sure that it's not too tight because that could potentially cause additional itching I imagine.
