Sorry it took so long to mail him. Getting 2 kids in and out of the post office is no fun!
Ooo-can't wait to see!
Yep, they aren't babies anymore. I'm probably in the minority about this, but I'm glad mine aren't babies anymore. I'm really really over the baby stage. I can't wait until they can make their own lunch!
PLEASE, I'm sorry you had to go to the post office on my account.
And I know...I get so annoyed when M won't do stuff I know she can do. C'mon kid!
Love the fabric. I think how hard will depend on what you want the drapes to look like. I considered trying to make some for my living and dining room and my mom who does sort of know what she's doing said to just buy them (which I haven't done yet because they are too freakin expensive)
Oh, I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining-it was really no biggie. I just had to get the kids on a good day! The PO is so boring for them!
Yeah, they sure are getting independent, aren't they?!
I just want plain old drapes. Something to make the room look more put together. Nothing fancy. My bedroom is so boring, so I figured some spicy fabric would be easier than trying to redecorate or whatever. I don't want to buy any because, like you said, they're expensive, and it seems like a waste, unless I can find them on clearance somewhere!
Yeah, mine needed to be long like over 100 inches long. The hard part for me was the seam...fabrics are generally the same width. Like you can get 3 yards but the width will be 50 inches so you might have to sew two pieces together to make one drape, KWIM?
That was a problem for what I wanted and the particular fabric would have been more than the PB drape.
Mine won't need to be that long, but I hear ya on the seam. Man, why can't everything be cheap and easy to do?? Hmmm. I may need to rethink this. Maybe I could make pillows out of the fabric and just go plain on the window?
Re: **EMT**
We got him yesterday!! Thanks, sorry I forgot to mention.
The party was awesome. Loading pics now. I sewed something for the party. So you will get to see my skills!!
My mom said Owen looks a foot taller today then he did yesterday
. Guess turning 1 means they are not babies anymore.
How are you?
