AW'ing DH: Saved a 2 month old baby this morning

DH is working a 24-hour overtime shift today (after working 24 hours yesterday).  This morning, they were called for a 2-month old baby who was not breathing.  They were able to get the baby breathing again while still in the ambulance.  I'm so proud!

    That is so awesome. I bet you it's stories like that that make his job so rewarding and the long hours (especially long hours away from his own family) worth it! :)

    You should be so proud!  :)  What an amazing thing! 

    My DH is a firefighter too and a few years ago he and one of his partners saved a baby that wasn't breathing.  The mom fell asleep while nursing and smothered the baby.  Their family has stayed in touch with us.  We are invited to the little girls birthday party each year and they send us Christmas cards!  It's so beautiful!  I hope your DH hears wonderful things from this family for years to come!
