Does Alderwood Mall really not open until 11 on Sun?

I was looking up mall hours, and I could have sworn that the mall itself (and the kids play area) opened at 10 on Sundays, even though most of the stores didn't open until 11. But on the Web site it looks like nothing is open until 11. Is that right?

I know this is a dumb question, since I'm looking right at what the mall says its hours are!

Any ideas of places to take toddlers on Sunday mornings in the North end/Eastside? I feel like nothing is open early enough (now that we rarely get to sleep in past 6:00!).

  • The mall opens early all the time. Stores may not be open, but you can definitely enter before then There are mall-walkers there at 8 or earlier every day.

  • The doors to the mall open earlier than that... Just the stores/food court don't open till 11. You may have to come in the main entrance but you should be able to get in!
  • I know that is so late isn't it to open!

  • Yes everyone is correct you can get in before open, and walk if you want.  I didn't know they changed their hours either until I was at the mall and everyone was starting to close.  It was only 9 pm and when I worked at that mall (For 7 years) it had always been 9:30 close time and 10-6 on Sundays.

DH works there and he said they changed the hours with the economy... Save $$ to be open a litle less. The usualy did very minimal business in the very beginning and very end of the day.

Yep even before the recession it was like that.  I would be alone in my store until around 11, then an associate would come in.  It was ridiculous!
