Going to a preschool open house today

I'm so excited!  Ashlyn is going to love it when she finally gets to go.

Are there any questions I should be asking?

    I would ask what the schedule for day is like (if they don't already provide  it).  At DS the 3 yo class is mostly play (loosely structured) and the 4 yo is more structured and learning focused but still alot of play.  DS is learning alot.

    Ask what the child to teacher/assistant ratio is.  Ask how drop off and pick up is...do you walk them into the classroom/pick them up from classroom or drop them off/pickup at front door.  Is it play based or more academic.  If it's academic what exactly will they be learning..letters, numbers, shapes, phonics..etc

    Also how are bathroom breaks handled..the whole class at one time or do they just allow the children to ask when they have to go.
