Hey ladies.. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about posting over here, but I've had several fantastic bumpies from 3rd tri encourage me to do so, so here I am.
Basically, I just got home from a fantabulous 3 day hospital vacation for PIH, and now am on modified bedrest at home and have to go in every 3 days to get my pressures taken, urine checked, and other assorted goodies. My ticker (and official EDD) read that I'm 32 weeks today, but according to a growth ultrasound we had Thursday, the Hitchhiker is measuring at 34 to 35 weeks.
Anyway, I had 4 rounds of steroids to help the HH's lungs this weekend, and my OB suspects delivery in anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks, so here's hoping we can hold out as long as possible.
I know I'm nowhere near as "high risk" as a lot of you ladies probably are, so I feel sort of silly posting on this board, and I want to make it known that I mean absolutely no disrespect to any of you. Hopefully during these next few weeks I'll be able to offer you all some support and we can get through all the scary/depressing/cruddy stuff together. ![]()

Re: *Peeking In* New semi-bedrest-momma with PIH
Hi! I am not on bed rest yet but I have also been having bp issues with orders to be in bed as much as possible, Also went to the hospital on Wed. for observation. I have to go to the dr 2 times per week also now for bpp/nst tests and my dr also thinks I will go early.
It can be so scary! and it really makes you realize what is important in life.
Good luck with everything!
This! You are definitely welcome Annie!
(sneaking out of my sugary, GD bubble)
