thoughts on nursery quotes

I thought of putting the following quote on our DD's side of the room.. perhaps above the crib?

"With a butterfly kiss and a ladybug hug, sleep tight little one like a bug in a rug"

does anyone have any cute sayings for DS side of the room? would that be too much words on the wall.... am I over-thinking this??? (probably, lol) maybe I should just stick with the wooden letters of their names..

I wouldn't, but I'm not a fan of words all over the nursery anyway. I have my kids' names on the walls and a bunch of fun pictures and things that they like to look at instead. I figured if they live in the room, they should enjoy the walls at least :-) I think your quote is super cute though, just not something I would do.

what about 'snips and snails and puppy dog tails" for baby boy and "sugar and spice and everything nice" for baby girl?

for jack's big boy room we have one that is a dictionary type "definition" (complete with phonetic spelling etc) which says boy: a noise with dirt on it

i am in love with it - lol! and it is SO true - he talks all day long and i cannot keep him out of anything messy/dirty!

We have the pinocchio (sp) about a real boy is truthful , brave...and yep, I cant remember the rest and DS is sleeping, so you aren't getting it from me now!

We've got "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be." above our LOs crib - pretty unisex.  SAADDDD  book though, but loved the quote.
